These budget friendly options enhance both the property's value and appearance. For clients looking to sell or rent their properties, these additional services will maximize the value you receive. Additionally, if our client is looking to occupy the property, these services are most efficient when the residence is totally vacated, clean, and accessible. Painting and carpet cleaning can be done individually or bundled with other core services. We serve Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Brantford, Guelph, and the surrounding areas.
Process Overview
Phase 1 - Assessment and Preparation
The first step is to evaluate what areas of the home will be painted and determine which carpets will be cleaned. We work with the homeowner to procure the desired color of paint and typically remove all furniture, garbage, and other items prior to painting and carpet cleaning. We also remove light switches, outlet covers, and artwork, while laying down protective drop cloths over the floor and apply painter's tape over baseboards, trim, edges, and any areas that need to be protected.
Phase 2 - Painting
Once rooms are prepped, taped, and ready for painting, we start with a layer of primer. We typically begin with the ceiling, followed by the walls, and finally the woodwork and trim; if they are being painted. After the primer has dried, we apply two or more layers of paint.
Phase 3 - Carpet Cleaning
For carpet cleaning, we start by vacuuming all carpets thoroughly. Depending on the carpet's quality and the level of cleaning required, we offer both hot water extraction and low moisture encapsulation. We also spot clean stains and apply a deodorizer on the carpet to leave the room smelling fresh.
